Job Description

Hallam Read Construction in Leicester have converted old offices into luxury apartments on the first and second floor of a building known as Edinburgh House in Abbey Street, Market Harborough. They have appointed Colourbank Carpets of Crest Rise, Leicester, to supply and arrange the installation of fitted carpets and Luxury Vinyl Tile planks to all the areas including stairs and landings. The flooring installer, Dave Sansford of DS Flooring, also specialises in floor preparation and needed to apply self levelling compound to all rooms and landings with a concrete subfloor. Dave has used many types of Levelling Compounds and was asked by Larsen to trial our new LLC200 for this job.

Job Details

LLC200 (Larsen’s 2-part latex floor smoothing underlayment) was applied during the floor preparation stage as the self-levelling compound to all rooms and landings with a concrete subfloor.  

Products used: 

LLC200 – Used to prepare most rigid surfaces prior to the installation of floor coverings such as vinyl, carpet and ceramic floor tiles. Manufactured from a controlled blend of special sands, cements and low odour synthetic polymers, it is a high quality flooring product with excellent flow and levelling characteristics.
