Chemcrete MR1 is a plasticising/retarding admixture for mortar, based on synthetic surfactants.

It has been designed to extend the working time of ready-mixed mortars and reduce the water requirement. Chemcrete MR1 is generally used in conjunction with Chemcrete ME2 to provide masonry mortars for laying that remain workable for up to 48 hours (depending on the dosage of Chemcrete MR1)
