Operating 24/7 all year round, Belfast International Airport is Northern Ireland’s Principal Airport and the second largest gateway on the Island of Ireland. As part of a brand-new terminal extension at Belfast International Airport, Larsen Building Products were proud to supply a host of professional-grade, high-specification products for this project, including Larsen Professional FiberFlex™ Semi-Rapid Set+ (Pink Pro Bag) and Larsen SLC 1550 Flex universal renovation screed.

Job Details

As part of Belfast International Airport’s new terminal extension works, the subfloor was prepared using Larsen SLC 1550 Flex universal renovation screed. Larsen Professional FiberFlex™ Semi-Rapid Set+ (Pink Pro Bag) tile adhesive was used to install flooring tiles.

Larsen SLC 1550 FLEX

Larsen SLC 1550 Flex is a single pack, fast-drying, universal renovation screed with FiberFlex™ microfibre technology. Ideal for use in fast track domestic and commercial situations. It provides an ideal surface to resilient floor finishes such as carpet, tiles, vinyl, resin coatings, carpet etc.

Larsen Professional FiberFlex™ Semi-Rapid Set+ (Pink Pro Bag)

Larsen Professional FiberFlex™ Semi-Rapid Set+ (Pink Pro Bag) is a specially formulated, fully flexible, S1 rated, microfibre reinforced, non-slip, cement-based adhesive.

It is suitable for large format panels, porcelain, ceramic and natural stone tiles. Additionally, it is suitable for beds of 3-20mm, interior, exterior, floor and wall applications.
