Opened in February 2011, the highly anticipated W Hotel in London has recently been completed with the help of products designed and manufactured by Larsen.
This 19,500m2 scheme will be the first W leisure complex in the UK and occupies the prominent location in Leicester Square of the famous Swiss Centre.
In addition to 5 Fantastic Suites, 2 Marvellous Suites, 3 Spa Suites, 7 Studio Suites, 3 Wow Suites and 1 E-Wow Suite, there is also a spa, fitness facility and world class destination restaurant and lounge, all of which are fitted with custom made furnishings.
To complete the 192 luxurious rooms available at the hotel, JB Tiling carried out over 5,000m2 of floor levelling and tiling for main contractor McAleer and Rushe.
Using Larsen Professional SLC1500 Commercial levelling compound and Larsen Professional Flexible Fast Set tile adhesive, floors were tiled with Royal Mosa porcelain tiles in 3 sizes and in three shades to give a distinctive contemporary styling.
